About the Office

Strategic Leadership

The Chancellor's Office is the apex of institutional leadership at MSU TCTO. It provides vision, policy direction, and oversight so the university fulfills its mandate in instruction, research, extension, and production.

Working with the Office of the Campus Secretary and other units in the Chancellor Cluster, this office upholds transparency, accountability, and excellence across university operations.

₱85-M Halal Research Center to Rise at MSU TCTO, Advancing Halal Innovation in the Bangsamoro

Strengthening its commitment to research, innovation, and community-responsive development, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is set to establish a four-storey Halal Research Center with a total project investment of ₱85 million. The facility, which will have a 3,200-square-meter floor area, aims to serve as a hub for halal research, training, product development, and industry collaboration in the Bangsamoro region. Once completed, the Center is expected to support the growing demand for halal-certified products and services while advancing scientific research, professional training, and economic opportunities in the halal industry.
