UPDATE | The Office of the President has issued Memorandum Order No. 017, series of 2025, announcing the suspension of classes for all academic units effective from 1:00 PM onwards today, February 25, 2025. This suspension is in commemoration of the 39th anniversary of the People Power/Peaceful EDSA Revolution.

₱85-M Halal Research Center to Rise at MSU TCTO, Advancing Halal Innovation in the Bangsamoro

Strengthening its commitment to research, innovation, and community-responsive development, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is set to establish a four-storey Halal Research Center with a total project investment of ₱85 million. The facility, which will have a 3,200-square-meter floor area, aims to serve as a hub for halal research, training, product development, and industry collaboration in the Bangsamoro region. Once completed, the Center is expected to support the growing demand for halal-certified products and services while advancing scientific research, professional training, and economic opportunities in the halal industry.

MAKATI CITY, Philippines — Strengthening its commitment to community development and sustainable livelihoods, Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) on February 5, 2026, at the DBP Head Office in Makati City.
