University Honors Chancellor’s Listers in Crème de la Crème

The Crème de la Crème Recognition Ceremony for the Chancellor’s list was held on November 29, at the Maas Kamlon Hall to celebrate outstanding academic achievements during the previous semester.

Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali expressed her joy over the increasing number of academic awardees. She noted the importance of dreaming big and persevering through challenges.

Ms. Faila M. Samimi, from the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies with a GPA of 1.02, led this semester’s honorees.

Ms. Samimi delivered an inspiring message, encouraging her peers to remain determined despite life’s challenges. She thanked her family, loved ones, and those who supported her dreams.

"To anyone who finds themselves at a crossroads, unsure of the path ahead, I offer this advice: Trust the people who believe in you, even when you don’t believe in yourself. Take the leap, embrace the unknown, and allow yourself to be surprised by what you can achieve."

43 Chancellor’s listers received certificates of merit, medals, and cash incentives.

This ceremony acknowledges student successes and reinforces the University’s dedication to building academic performance and inspiring future achievements.
