On January 11, the Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (TCTO) proudly unveiled the newly rehabilitated faculty room for the Integrated Laboratory School (ILS) Junior and Senior High. The event was graced by university officials, faculty members, and students.

The rehabilitation project, which was executed in a single phase by AMYU Construction, had a budget of nearly P1 million.

Engineer Allan Caguioa, in a series of updates, informed the attendees about the ongoing infrastructure developments under the current administration.

Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali expressed her unwavering support for the Integrated Laboratory School. She stated, “In recognition of the exceptional work done by our ILS, it is only fitting that our educators have a comfortable workspace where they can develop lesson plans and recuperate after intense class sessions. This Faculty Room is just one of many improvements that the ILS will witness as we strive to enhance our services.”

In a heartwarming gesture, Ms. Anang Gonzales, an alumna of MSU TCTO Preparatory High School and a retired teacher based in the USA, made a generous donation of books to the school.

The inauguration of the newly rehabilitated ILS Faculty Room marks a significant milestone in TCTO’s ongoing commitment to providing an enhanced learning environment for its students and staff. This initiative, coupled with the generous contributions from alumni like Ms. Anang Gonzales, underscores the collective effort of the TCTO community in shaping a brighter future for education. As TCTO continues to invest in infrastructure and resources, it reaffirms its dedication to fostering academic excellence and nurturing the next generation of leaders.
