A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was officially sealed on September 11, 2024, at Sabdani J. Bulante Hall, marking a historic partnership between Mindanao State University - Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU-TCTO) and the Indigenous Children Learning Center Inc. (ICLC) to enhance education quality for Bajao learners in Tawi-Tawi.

The MOA was signed by the MSU-TCTO Chancellor, Prof. Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, PhD, and the ICLC Executive Director, Mr. Michael Dawila Venning, with Prof. Clarissa Ayangco-Derramas and Vice Chancellor Murphy S. Unaid present as witnesses.

The MSU-TCTO, through the College of Education, will contribute through curriculum development, teacher training, and technical assistance, ensuring that Bajao children receive quality education tailored to their cultural context.

This MOA highlights MSU-TCTO’s commitment to advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Both institutions will unite their efforts to drive significant improvements in educational outcomes among Bajao learners, fostering inclusive and equitable quality education. The agreement marks a pivotal step toward a more just and sustainable educational future, further cementing the university's role in community impact and global development.
