The Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is proud to host the 1st International Conference on Inclusive and Indigenous Education (ICIIE) 2025, which has been officially endorsed by the

Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) through PASUC Advisory No. 186, s. 2025.

With the theme “𝙍𝙚𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣,” the global conference will take place on November 26–28, 2025 at MSU-TCTO in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

As the host institution, MSU TCTO is honored to provide an international platform that amplifies the collective voices of education leaders, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners from across the Philippines and around the world in advancing inclusive and culturally sustaining education for indigenous learners.

₱85-M Halal Research Center to Rise at MSU TCTO, Advancing Halal Innovation in the Bangsamoro

Strengthening its commitment to research, innovation, and community-responsive development, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is set to establish a four-storey Halal Research Center with a total project investment of ₱85 million. The facility, which will have a 3,200-square-meter floor area, aims to serve as a hub for halal research, training, product development, and industry collaboration in the Bangsamoro region. Once completed, the Center is expected to support the growing demand for halal-certified products and services while advancing scientific research, professional training, and economic opportunities in the halal industry.
