MSU-TCTO unveils new sanitation facilities at Nurul Iman Islamic Center

In a simple program, the newly-constructed two (2) units (one for male and one for female) Comfort Rooms with foot and hand sanitation facilities of MSU-TCTO CIAS Nurul Iman Islamic Center were formally turned over today, May 17. The construction of these facilities was undertaken by Aljareev Construction, who ensured the successful completion and delivery of the project. The ceremony was attended by several university officials, led by Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali. The event was also graced by other guests including Prof. Dr. Achmad Nurmandi, the Vice-Rector for International Affairs from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and Tawi-Tawi Provincial Mufti Ustadz Abdulwahid Inju. ₱85-M Halal Research Center to Rise at MSU TCTO, Advancing Halal Innovation in the Bangsamoro

Strengthening its commitment to research, innovation, and community-responsive development, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is set to establish a four-storey Halal Research Center with a total project investment of ₱85 million. The facility, which will have a 3,200-square-meter floor area, aims to serve as a hub for halal research, training, product development, and industry collaboration in the Bangsamoro region. Once completed, the Center is expected to support the growing demand for halal-certified products and services while advancing scientific research, professional training, and economic opportunities in the halal industry.
