MSU-TCTO Hosts 18th Biennial Congress, Strengthens Faculty Unity Themed "Empowering Unions as Pillars of a Peaceful and Progressive Academic Community," the MSU-TCTO hosted this year's 18th Biennial Congress of the Mindanao State University System Faculty Federation (MSU-FF). The MSU-FF Biennial Congress convened faculty from the MSU System to engage in dialogues and establish collaborative initiatives within the system. Held at the Bihing Tahik Resort in Bongao, the theme emphasizes a union's crucial role in fostering a supportive and forward-thinking environment within academic institutions. In his message, Faculty Regent Prof. Alhisan U. Jemsy, Ph.D., discussed critical faculty issues and concerns about university governance, policies, and transparency in decision-making. Moreover, MSU System President Atty. Basari D. Mapupuno, Chancellor Prof. Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, Ph.D., and PMS Director Atty. Rashid V. Pandi were present and engaged in critical dialogues with the Faculty Federation members. The Congress, with involvement from university leaders and faculty members, emphasized the importance of unions in building a peaceful and progressive academic society.
