MSU-TCTO Honors 604 Dean’s Listers in Créme de la Créme Program

To honor the dedication and academic excellence of its top-performing students, the University held the Créme de la Créme Program for the Dean’s Listers of the College of Education, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Fisheries, College of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Institute of Oceanography and Environmental Science, and the Institute of Information and Communications Technology today, April 10, 2025 at the Maas Kamlon Hall. The event served as a tribute to excellence, recognizing the hard work and perseverance of students from various colleges. A total of 604 Dean's Listers were honored during the program and received their certificates of recognition. The program also featured inspiring speeches from university officials, all emphasizing the significance of hard work, resilience, and a commitment to learning. As students received their certificates of recognition, an atmosphere of pride and celebration filled the hall, reflecting the collective efforts of both the university and the students in striving for excellence. One of the Dean's Listers from the College of Education, Ms. Shermalyn G. Ladja, shared her inspiring story of hope, dedication, and perseverance. "This success is due to hard work. I studied very hard, spending many hours learning. Studying isn't just about passing exams; it's about pursuing dreams with dedication. I'm committed to achieving my goals, even when it's tough and I feel overwhelmed." She also offered words of encouragement to her fellow MSUans and baby Dolphins: "Achieving academic excellence doesn’t require being exceptionally intelligent. The key is to stay hardworking and motivated in your studies. With that, I leave you with this reminder: ‘The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.’" Beyond celebrating student achievements, the event reaffirmed the University’s commitment to academic excellence and student welfare. The Créme de la Créme Program is just one of many initiatives that MSU-TCTO has established to empower students, providing them with meaningful opportunities to thrive in their educational journey. Through continuous support and recognition of academic achievements, MSU-TCTO reaffirms its role as a pillar of excellence, nurturing students to reach their fullest potential and inspiring them to pursue even greater heights.
