Prof. Dr. Yashier U. Jumah of the College of Fisheries placed Third (Professional Category) in the Poster Competition for his research "Deactivation of Type II Diabetes Mellitus Pathways in the Kappa Carrageenan-fed Postlarvae Black Tiger Shrimp Penaeus monodon and its Implications as Food." Meanwhile, student Nurhaida Bandahala won Second Placer (Student Category) in the Poster Competition with her research Plastic Litter Characterization and Quantification in the Beach Area of Barangay Pahut, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.
