Mapayapang Araw! We are thrilled to announce the launch of MSU TCTO’s first Peace Research Clinic! Established through the Institute for Peace and Development in Mindanao (IPDM), this initiative reaffirms the University’s dedication to cultivating a strong research culture rooted in academic collaboration and community engagement. Our efforts extend not only to the University’s constituents but also to the broader Tawi-Tawi community. We thank Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, PhD for supporting this initiative.

₱85-M Halal Research Center to Rise at MSU TCTO, Advancing Halal Innovation in the Bangsamoro

Strengthening its commitment to research, innovation, and community-responsive development, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is set to establish a four-storey Halal Research Center with a total project investment of ₱85 million. The facility, which will have a 3,200-square-meter floor area, aims to serve as a hub for halal research, training, product development, and industry collaboration in the Bangsamoro region. Once completed, the Center is expected to support the growing demand for halal-certified products and services while advancing scientific research, professional training, and economic opportunities in the halal industry.
