ANNOUNCEMENT: In celebration of the 63rd MSU Founding Anniversary, all employees and students are encouraged to attend and participate in the parade on September 1, 2024, at 7:00 AM.
The parade will assemble at Sunkist Beach and conclude at the Henry V. Kong Gymnasium, where the program will follow.
Please note that employees should wear their cluster shirts, and students should wear their respective department shirts.
In recognition of excellence in quality assurance, University Chancellor Prof. Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, Ph.D. was conferred the Manuel T. Corpus Outstanding Quality Champion Award 2026, the highest distinction granted by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), during the 39th AACCUP National Conference and General Assembly held on March 24, 2026 at the Century Park Hotel, Malate, Metro Manila.

Strengthening its commitment to research, innovation, and community-responsive development, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is set to establish a four-storey Halal Research Center with a total project investment of ₱85 million. The facility, which will have a 3,200-square-meter floor area, aims to serve as a hub for halal research, training, product development, and industry collaboration in the Bangsamoro region. Once completed, the Center is expected to support the growing demand for halal-certified products and services while advancing scientific research, professional training, and economic opportunities in the halal industry.
