Provincial Champion Again!

Congratulations to our outstanding student innovators from Institute of Information and Communications Technology, MSU Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography for once again securing the provincial champion title at Hack4Gov 2025, held today, July 2, 2025, at Capitol Hills, Tubig-Boh, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, with the theme: "Decode, Defend, Dominate: Outsmarting Threats One Flag at a Time."

With a high team score of 976, the group demonstrated exceptional skills in cybersecurity, problem-solving, and teamwork, winning against eight other teams for the second consecutive year. Rhayan S. Lodovice stood out as the top scorer, earning 455 points, a remarkable achievement that significantly contributed to their victory. Congratulations!!

₱85-M Halal Research Center to Rise at MSU TCTO, Advancing Halal Innovation in the Bangsamoro

Strengthening its commitment to research, innovation, and community-responsive development, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is set to establish a four-storey Halal Research Center with a total project investment of ₱85 million. The facility, which will have a 3,200-square-meter floor area, aims to serve as a hub for halal research, training, product development, and industry collaboration in the Bangsamoro region. Once completed, the Center is expected to support the growing demand for halal-certified products and services while advancing scientific research, professional training, and economic opportunities in the halal industry.
