The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) from the Cotabato Sub Office visited the Office of the Chancellor on December 17.

Mr. Muhammad Altaf, Chief Technical Advisor, along with his team, discussed the implementation of the UNIDO BAEP Project, where MSU SEARDEC is identified as the beneficiary of equipment assistance.

UNIDO will also partner with the Student Food Processing and Innovation Center to support agribusiness engaged in seaweed and seafood processing.

This collaboration aims to equip the Student Food Processing and Innovation Center with the necessary resources and provide capacity building on food safety, FDA, and Halal certification requirements. In turn, the center will offer training and technical advisory services to the selected beneficiaries.

This partnership is expected to bring significant benefits to the local community, enhancing food processing capabilities and promoting sustainable development.
