"I look forward to being a responsible Baby Dolphin who will be studying and enjoying what MSU-TCTO has to offer."

MSU-TCTO CAS Extension Ungus Matata Senior High School Class Salutatorian Ridwan G. Shabudin recently topped the MSU-TCTO (preferred campus) System Admission and Scholarship Administration Examination (SASE).

The 18-year-old SASE Best Scorer proudly expressed his elation when he received his SASE results.

"ALHAMDULILLAH, because during Ramadan, I always include in my dua na sana maka pasa ako sa SASE and yet hindi lng naka pasa nag top pa. I felt so happy and blessed at that moment kasi Allah (S.W.T.) answered my prayer and I am very thankful."

During the short interview, Mr. Shabudin described his Senior High School journey as a roller coaster ride; but as an MSUan, he considered himself resilient and determined.

"My senior high journey was a roller coaster ride full of unexpected challenges. Grade Eleven was the most challenging because we were in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. But when you really want to learn and succeed, nothing can stop you."

"I carry so much pressure with me, I sometimes feel I'm pressured to not fail at all. But I learned from my mentors that failing should not hinder me to succeed. Rather, failure should motivate me to stand strong and learn from my mistakes. Praying to Allah (S.W.T) and asking for his guidance to ease my burdens. But I'm not just leaving it all to Allah (S.W.T). I also persevere hard to excel in my studies."

Mr. Shabudin enthusiastically shares how he always preferred MSU-TCTO. Now, he is not only a great asset to the University but a budding role model to his peers.

"It is a big YES!!! MSU-TCTO has always been my dream school and I believe that once an MSUan, always an MSUan. I look forward to be a responsible Baby Dolphin who will be studying and enjoying MSU-TCTO's offerings in both its academic and extracurricular programs."

Mr. Shabudin's advice to his fellow students is a testament not only to his faith but also to his grit and strong personal ethics.

"Don’t forget the Almighty Allah (S.W.T), always pray to him pero wag naman i'asa lahat sa Kanya. You need to work on those things that you would like to achieve para mag excel or maging successful in your studies."

In his final note, Mr. Shabudin thanked his parents and family, and significant individuals for being part of his journey.

"I want to thank first the Almighty Allah for his blessing that he showered me. To the people who shaped me to become who I am today, Fujico and Amina Sulanting. To my mentor who not only taught me lessons in school but also shaped my morals, Ma’am Fatima Junara Brillantes Nassal, my Gade 12 Class Adviser, thank you. To my friends who are always there for me and keep supporting me, Krizha Mae, Almijan, Riyadha Mae, Alshafipa, and Hamza, thank you."

MSU-TCTO is proud to welcome Mr. Shabudin and the incoming freshmen and students into the University.
