𝐀𝐕𝐂 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐋𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

In a simple ceremony held on August 27 new heads of offices at the AVC Secondary Education Department and Integrated Laboratory School were officially installed. University officials, led by Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, accompanied the new appointees to their respective offices.

In a short message, the Chancellor extended her best of luck to the new heads and emphasized the importance of teamwork in serving the constituents.

Mr. Jamaluddin Sala, the outgoing Principal of the Integrated Laboratory School, has been designated as the Acting Assistant Vice Chancellor for Secondary Education. While Assoc. Prof. Maria Liza A. Adjawi, the Assistant Principal of ILS-SBEC, has assumed the role of Acting Principal of the Integrated Laboratory School.

During the ceremony, the newly designated heads expressed their gratitude to the Chancellor for her trust and confidence. They vow to support the administration and its programs throughout their tenure.

Strengthening its commitment to research, innovation, and community-responsive development, the Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU TCTO) is set to establish a four-storey Halal Research Center with a total project investment of ₱85 million. The facility, which will have a 3,200-square-meter floor area, aims to serve as a hub for halal research, training, product development, and industry collaboration in the Bangsamoro region. Once completed, the Center is expected to support the growing demand for halal-certified products and services while advancing scientific research, professional training, and economic opportunities in the halal industry.
