RESEARCH NEWS | Assistant Professor Albaris B. Tahiluddin, one of the authors, has made a significant contribution to the field of Biochemical Genetics with his recent publication in the Scopus/SCI-indexed journal. This esteemed journal, owned by Springer, boasts an impressive impact factor of 2.4, reflecting its influence and reach in the scientific community.

The paper offers an in-depth review of the beneficial effects of phytobiotics on various aspects of carp species. It meticulously examines how phytobiotics positively influence immune responses, growth rates, antioxidant capabilities, and the quality of flesh in carp species. These impacts are discerned through careful observation of changes in gene expression.

Moreover, the paper doesn’t stop at presenting findings. It goes a step further to identify existing gaps in research related to the use of phytobiotics in aquaculture. By doing so, it opens up new avenues for future exploration and underscores the potential of phytobiotics in advancing sustainable aquaculture practices.
